About Mike

Mike Slayden is an avid cyclist who is passionate about kids and their health. He is especially concerned about kids in impoverished communities who lack traditional support systems. With a Masters Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, Mike found a way to unite his teaching abilities, his compassion for kids and his love for cycling by establishing Off the Front. Off the Front is an organization committed to helping at-risk kids break away from the hindrances of poverty, education, and obesity by setting goals in the areas of academics, character, and service. Mike has been married to his bride Michele for 11 years and has three amazing daughters: Madison, Cali, and Ella.
