Launch Day!

Just walked in the door from Susan B and the official launch of Off The Front! Man, what to say- the kids were super stoked to see the presentation and discover how they can earn a brand new bike, lock & helmet. Their excitement was contagious and i found myself fighting back tears before we began. Memories of my first bike flooded my mind as well as God’s continued faithfulness through this journey. Many of the eyes who will scan these words have made this possible. I promise you there are 70 kids who want to tell you thank you. Their questions were relentless- “when do we get the bikes, where do we park them, we don’t have enough bike racks….” Awesome. These kids are fired up and this big kid is as well. Riding a bike still makes me smile and warms my insides like it did so many years ago. To have the privilege of helping kids experience that feeling for the very first time leaves me speechless.
